Weirdo in Downey

so i was riding my bike through Downey towards the bike trail the other day. i stopped off to get myself a soda pop at the food for less. after coming out of the store i noticed a somewhat disheveled possibly homeless man eyeballing me. i thought nothing of it, figuring he was just worried i was trying to steal his bike or something when i went to go get mine. figuring it was nothing I started to ride towards the bike trail when suddenly I hear a voice yelling at me to pull over. I looked back to see the guy pulling up behind me as I stopped at a light. "what're you doing over here. You doing some shopping at the store?"... "what does it look like?", I replied. "look this is a routine stop i'm gonna have to ask you to pull over. DON'T RUN.", he then proceeded to run the red light on his bicycle get off and stand waiting across the street. Instead of turning to avoid him or something I waited for the light, then rode right past him, standing there, jaw dropped, without so much as a second glance. Gotta love los Angeles.
